Where are you solar cookers?

Not sure where to put this, but here goes.  Today was the first opportunity I had to try my solar cooker, which is just a cardboard box, folded a la origami, and covered in tin foil.  I cooked a rice dish, to 160 degrees, with no effort.  Anyone else been experimenting??

Yay Donna!! Really great pics

Yay Donna!! Really great pics too! Have not experimented yet. Will really try my best by the 9th to have something built. Writing a flyer blurb to print up and poster around this month, as well as a press release for local papers and the town and farmers market websites. Sent you an email this eve re: getting togther in person :) Excited about this event!! Oh, and fyi to all, the alternate date for this event is the 23rd should the sun choose not to shine on the 9th.
